The Lakers dropped a third straight game Tuesday with a blowout loss to the Suns, and the Spurs emerged victorious for the fourth time in as many games with a win over the Jazz. Both teams are playing the second leg of a back-to-back set as they clash for the second time this season.
My Lakers vs. Spurs predictions target the San Antonio moneyline and player props for two superstar big men on Wednesday, November 27.

My analysis
Through 18 games, the San Antonio Spurs are in the thick of the Western Conference playoff race, and they sit just half a game back of the Los Angeles Lakers. Los Angeles won the first meeting of the season 120-115 in San Antonio, but I’m counting on the Spurs to flip the script for tonight’s rematch.
The Lakers won two of three against the Spurs last season, emerging with wins of three and five points and suffering a 129-115 loss to San Antonio. This season’s first game was another hard-fought affair, and the Spurs kept it close yet again. San Antonio was ahead in that game with just under two minutes to go, making it a very winnable tilt.
The Lakers should be in desperation mode tonight, but I expected them to be hungry for a win against the Suns on Tuesday, and they were run out of the gym in the second half. Meanwhile, San Antonio has won four straight, including victories over the top two teams in the West in the Warriors and Thunder.
The Lakers have lost three straight and are 0-5 ATS across their last five. The Spurs have won four straight and six of eight and are a perfect 4-0 ATS during their win streak. San Antonio is 5-2 straight-up and ATS as the home dog. The Lakers are 3-1 straight-up as the road favorite but just 1-3 ATS in that situation and 2-6 ATS on the road overall.
Taking the Spurs to cover makes sense in this one, but this is such a close line that I prefer getting the plus-money odds on San Antonio winning outright. My NBA picks are backing the hot home team to keep rolling and send Los Angeles spiraling to a fourth straight L.

Victor Wembanyama Over 39.5 points + rebounds + assists
Anthony Davis Over 43.5 points + rebounds + assists
There’s no reason to shy away from Victor Wembanyama now, especially while he is blisteringly hot. The French phenom has hit the PRA Over in six straight appearances, averaging 32.5 points, 10.7 rebounds, and four assists in that span.
Wemby easily cashed this prop in his first meeting with the Lakers this season, going for 28/14/5. He averaged 41 PRAs in three matchups with L.A. last season and hit the Over in two of three.
Wemby has been terrific at home, averaging 40.5 PRAs compared to just 31.4 on the road. He’s hit this mark in five of nine at Frost Bank Center, and I fully expect him to do it again tonight in a Spurs win.
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. I went to Anthony Davis for the Over on his PRAs prop last night, and I’m going back to the well tonight.
Despite suffering a blowout loss to the Suns, Davis cashed this prop on Tuesday, and his line moved only slightly from 42.5 up to 43.5. On the season, Davis is averaging 41.7 PRAs at home and a whopping 47.1 on the road.
He went for 40/12/2 against the Spurs in the first meeting this season and averaged 44.5 PRAs against them last season. Davis is averaging 44.1 PRAs this season. He’s hit the Over in 10 of 16 games, including five of his last six, and I expect him to get it done against the Spurs after three straight excellent showings against them.
