The red-hot Cleveland Cavaliers can do no wrong as the victories pile up, and they chase a 17th straight win this afternoon against the Orlando Magic.
Meanwhile, Orlando has dropped seven of its past nine contests, and my Magic vs Cavaliers predictions expect Cleveland to get the job done without hitting top gear.

Magic vs Cavaliers prediction
My best bet: Under 219.5 (-110 at bet365)
My analysis
At some point, the Cleveland Cavaliers will lose again. But Kenny Atkinson’s men have cleared every obstacle on this current win streak, and they’re still big favorites tonight against the Orlando Magic — even with Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley listed as questionable.
Given the injury uncertainty, I’m avoiding the spread and taking the Under. The last meeting was one-way traffic with the Magic only scoring 82 points, and Orlando has peppered the Under this season — 41-27.
The Magic rank dead last in the NBA in points per game (104.5) and 3-point percentage, and they’ve scored 103 points or fewer in four of their past five meetings with Cleveland. It would be no surprise to see another sub-100 total today.
Any Under pick involving the Cavs requires a deep breath, but the hosts could be pushing role players into bigger spots here. If Mitchell sits out again, it puts a big burden on Darius Garland’s shoulders to outwit Orlando’s perimeter pressure.
Cleveland has hit the Under in four of its last five games, with the league’s top offense — 122.8 ppg — scoring 112 points or fewer in three of those contests. The hosts could reach that season average this afternoon and still cash the Under with the visitor's frequent droughts.
The Magic are painfully short on scoring options beyond Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner, and may also be without Cole Anthony. Still, they can at least hang their hats on a feisty defense allowing just 106 ppg this season — the stingiest mark in the NBA.
Magic vs Cavaliers same-game parlay
While the Magic face an uphill task today, I’m predicting a big game from Banchero. He’s been a beast on the boards lately, posting double-digit rebounds in his last two games.
He’s averaging 7.6 boards per game so far in March, and he’s gone past this number in four of his past six outings. Banchero is carrying a huge offensive load for Orlando these days, but that doesn’t seem to have impacted his work on the glass.
I’m also grabbing the Over on 1.5 made 3-pointers for Banchero. He’s knocked down at least two triples in his past four games, and he’s shooting 42% from downtown in March — up from just 27% in February.
Coming off a Friday loss where he took 32 shots, Banchero should again be the focal point for the visitors, who’ll need him to be assertive to keep pace with the Cavs. Cleveland’s interior defense is rock solid, so Paolo may get his best looks from beyond the arc.
