Superstar freshman Cooper Flagg is getting better with each passing game and is ready to lead his No. 1-seeded Duke Blue Devils against the No. 2-seeded Alabama Crimson Tide in the Elite Eight.

This game is set up to be a barnburner, and Flagg should be the focal point of the offense. My top March Madness picks for Saturday, March 29 believe he'll be getting it done across several of his stat categories.

Cooper Flagg best bet

Over 38.5 points + rebounds + assists (-115 at bet365)

After playing well but not posting huge scoring numbers, Cooper Flagg showed out in the Sweet 16 against Arizona with 30 points, seven assists, and six rebounds. He racked up 43 points + rebounds + assists, which tied for the second most he recorded in a game all season.

He gets to go up against another fast-paced offense that gives up points in bunches. Alabama just played BYU in a game that saw 201 total points, eight more than Duke's game against Arizona. The total for this game is currently sitting at 173.5.

Flagg gets his scoring inside the 3-point line, averaging only 3.7 attempted threes per game and 9.5 attempted twos. Meanwhile, the Tide allow 44.6 2-point attempts per game, which ranks 261st nationally. Alabama tries to force you to beat them by hitting nothing but twos while they jack shots up from beyond the arc.

They allowed BYU to shoot 27-for-42 from inside the 3-point line, while holding them to 6/30 from deep. This works out perfectly for Flagg, who will play similarly to Richie Saunders for BYU, attacking the rim and kicking out to open shooters if they collapse. Flagg will also utilize the alley-oop to the big man as he did several times against Arizona.

This arena is setting up nicely for shooters and scorers with the way the Sweet 16 games went, and this Elite Eight game should be no different. I imagine the fast pace will give Flagg plenty of chances to go Over this high PRA number like he did against Arizona.

Cooper Flagg same-game parlay

bet365

Cooper Flagg Over 38.5 points + rebounds + assists

Cooper Flagg Over 1.5 threes

Over 174

I'll also take Flagg to knock down at least two threes again. While Alabama doesn't allow a ton of threes, Flagg is rolling and will still take them when needed, which may be needed in a shootout. Flagg was 3-for-5 against Arizona from beyond the arc.

Finally, I'll add the game total Over to our two Flagg plays. Duke has a good defense, but the Blue Devils are vulnerable to high-paced games. Arizona scored 93 points, and Bama just put up 113. We may not see 200 points scored again, but I still love the Over.
