Get set for a fantastic MACtion matchup when the Ohio Bobcats visit the Glass Bowl to tussle with the Toledo Rockets.
Typical ugly mid-November weather is expected, and my Ohio vs. Toledo predictions expect the elements to impact this important conference clash.
Read on as I explain why my college football picks like the Under for Wednesday, November 20.
Ohio vs Toledo prediction and best bet
Who will win Ohio vs Toledo?
I like Ohio to win this game. The weather will wreak havoc with the Toledo offense, and the Bobcats' defense is the best in the conference against the rush.
The Bobcats love to pound the rock, and I expect them to do just that. Toledo has an above-average rushing defense, but Ohio will have enough success to win this game.
My best bet
Under 45.5 (-110 at DraftKings)

My analysis
The weather will be awful on Wednesday night. Rain is expected throughout the day, and high gusty winds and falling temperatures will replace the rain by kickoff.
That won’t make it very fun for either offense to throw the football, which is a pity for Toledo Rockets quarterback Tucker Gleason and the conference's top-throwing offense.
The Rockets only have one rusher in the Top 15 in the MAC. They don’t run the football nearly as well as they throw it, and that’s a bad thing against the conference’s best-rushing defense.
Ohio isn’t just good against the rush in the conference. It ranks 18th in rushing yards allowed nationally and has surrendered 11 rushing TDs this season.
Turn that around, and the Bobcats are all about rushing the football. They average 201 rushing yards per game, with QB Parker Navarro and running back Anthony Tyus III leading the second-best rushing attack in the MAC with nearly 1,400 combined rushing yards and 16 rushing TDs.
However, the Bobcats will face a tough Toledo rushing defense. That group allows a paltry 130 rushing ypg and the second-fewest rushing TDs in the MAC.
Mother Nature will play a significant factor on Wednesday. We have two strong rushing defenses that are also above average against the pass.
I don’t expect either QB to have much success throwing the football on Wednesday; The wind will be fierce, making throwing and kicking difficult. Both rushing defenses are stout, which will frustrate both offenses throughout the night.
Ohio vs Toledo same-game parlay (SGP)
I don’t expect much scoring from either side, but I like Ohio quarterback to lead the Bobcats to victory.
Navarro is a capable passer, but he excels at rushing the football. He hit paydirt four times last week against Eastern Michigan and has found the end zone in six of his nine games.
The Bobcats signal-caller will surely call his number, and I expect Navarro and the Ohio defense to stymie Toledo on both ends of the field.
Gleason and his aerial show will have difficulties throwing the football, and Ohio boasts the best rushing stop unit in the MAC. The Rockets don’t rush the ball well, and Ohio will come out on top.

Ohio vs Toledo spread and Over/Under analysis
- The number hasn’t budged from the 2.5 opener. Ohio is 3-2-0 ATS in its previous five games and 2-2-0 ATS this season as the underdog.
- Toledo is 2-3-0 ATS in its last five MAC games and has covered the spread in its previous two meetings with Ohio.
- The total plunged to 45.5 after a 48.5 (-110) opener. The weather and the defenses are likely to blame for the dip.
