It’s time for the top teams in college football to make their final pushes toward the conference championship games, and that means they’ll be turning to their most reliable weapons to score touchdowns this weekend.

I’m looking at three players from teams that are in contention for conference titles, all of whom have scored plenty already this year but are still giving us good odds on the TD scorer markets.

Here are my three favorite anytime touchdown college football picks for Week 13.

Best Week 13 anytime TD picks

TD prop bet #1: Mark Fletcher Jr.

Best odds: -190 at DraftKings

The Miami Hurricanes have the most explosive offense in college football, leading the nation in points (45.0 ppg) and yards per play (7.6).

So when Miami gets to play an underwhelming defense as they will on Saturday against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, we can expect the Hurricanes to score more than a few touchdowns.

There are plenty of likely targets you can bet on in the Hurricanes offense, but Damien Martinez and Xavier Restrepo aren’t going to give us much of a return on our investment. Instead, I’m going to target secondary back Mark Fletcher Jr. as my pick.

With 81 carries on the year, Fletcher gets plenty of opportunities to spell Martinez and make his own contributions to the Miami offense. This is particularly apparent when the offense is rolling and the Hurricanes look to spread the ball around a bit more.

Fletcher has three touchdowns in his last five games, and he’s a great pick to find the endzone again on Saturday.

TD prop bet #2: Jordan Hudson

Best odds: +145 at BetMGM

The SMU Mustangs are 9-1 overall and 6-0 in conference play, giving them the inside track to the ACC Championship Game. More importantly for our purposes, the Mustangs are also scoring 39.9 ppg and have reached 34+ points in six of their last seven outings.

SMU gets a relatively soft matchup this week with the Virginia Cavaliers, who sport an unremarkably below-average defensive unit. They’ve been particularly vulnerable to the pass, giving up 12.6 yards per completion.

Mustangs quarterback Kevin Jennings has been efficient in the passing game, completing 65.4% of his passes for 15 touchdowns on the year. Even if SMU doesn’t tilt toward the passing game on Saturday, Jennings will throw the ball at least 25 times, if not more, and he has thrown multiple touchdown passes in three of his last four starts.

Of his many targets, I like Jordan Hudson the most. The wide receiver has four scores on the year, tied for the most in the passing game with Keyshawn Smith and tight end R.J. Maryland.

But with Maryland out for the year, that should mean more opportunities for the receivers, and Hudson gives us the better payout in this game.

TD prop bet #3: Jordyn Tyson

Best odds: -120 at FanDuel

The Arizona State Sun Devils have played their way into the Big 12 Championship conversation and now face a must-win game against the BYU Cougars on Saturday. If they’re going to get the victory, they’ll need big performances from their stars, including wide receiver Jordyn Tyson.

Tyson is the second-leading touchdown scorer for Arizona State, trailing only running back Cam Skattebo. Boasting scores in three straight games, Tyson is the only consistent target in the passing game for the Sun Devils. His 58 receptions are more than double anyone outside of Skattebo, and his 833 yards account for nearly 40% of the total yardage in the passing game.

Although BYU plays well on defense and has held opposing quarterbacks to just a 99.0 rating and a 53% completion percentage, Tyson is the one player who can overcome the Cougars' secondary and breakthrough for a score.

Ed's advice to new bettors is to always open multiple sportsbook accounts and check the odds at each before placing any bet. Successful sports betting is about consistently beating the closing line value, which requires finding spots where one book is offering odds far better than the rest of the market and jumping on those opportunities.
