Russell Wilson is not the scrambler he once was, but his big arm will do plenty to give the Cleveland Browns trouble.

My analysis
There are a number of ways to bet on Russell Wilson in this game. Despite throwing an interception in half of his four games, it feels unlikely against a Cleveland Browns defense that has somehow racked up just two picks. That said, there’s another market that looks even safer.

Wilson has had either three or four rushing attempts in each of his games as the Pittsburgh Steelers’ starter but has been very inefficient, averaging just one yard per carry.

His highest rushing yard total in any of those games was seven, and he’s not rushing as often as he was in either Denver or Seattle. Part of the reason is Russ is much more effective in the pocket than he is with his legs. The Steelers also have Justin Fields on the sideline, so they can bring him on if they're in short-yardage situations and want to add the threat of rushing.

It's worth pointing out the Browns have allowed an average of 23.3 rushing yards per game to quarterbacks. However, the numbers have been hugely skewed by the opponents they’ve faced.

Jayden Daniels has rushed for 82 yards, Jalen Hurts 33, and Lamar Jackson for 46, which accounts for 161 of the 233 yards they’ve allowed on the ground. In the past two weeks, they’ve limited Justin Herbert and Derek Carr — two more traditional quarterbacks — to just 10 rushing yards combined.

Russell Wilson TNF same-game parlay

Russell Wilson Under 10.5 rushing yards

Wilson Over 186.5 passing yards

George Pickens Over 57.5 receiving yards

Cleveland is giving up 226.5 air yards per game and now faces a quarterback currently averaging 235.5 passing ypg. The line feels very low at 186.5 yards, given Wilson has exceeded it in every game he’s played this year.

The Browns are giving up an average of 154.5 yards to wide receivers, and George Pickens has been in great form with an average of 91.2 receiving ypg with Wilson under center.
