Tonight's NHL slate features a cross-conference clash between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Los Angeles Kings at Crypto.com Arena.

William Nylander has a point in seven straight games against L.A. My Maple Leafs vs. Kings predictions are backing him to continue that trend as he’s been the most dangerous Leafs player this week.

Maple Leafs vs Kings prediction

My Leafs pick: William Nylander Over 0.5 points (-185 at Sports Interaction)

My Leafs analysis
The Toronto Maple Leafs continue their California road trip tonight in L.A. at Crypto.com Arena. The Buds are coming off a disappointing 6-5 loss via shootout to the Sharks, so there should be plenty of motivation for a bounce-back performance tonight.

However, it’ll be a tall task as the Los Angeles Kings have been one of the hottest teams in the NHL and are nearly unbeatable at home, sporting a 26-3-4 record. Luckily, Toronto has been a solid road team this season, ranking fourth in the league with a .614 points percentage, averaging 3.40 goals per game, the second-best mark in the league.

Leading the way for the Leafs has been William Nylander, who has a team-high 19 road goals this season and is playing some of his best hockey over the last couple of games, collecting six points in his last two outings. He’s also been a catalyst for Toronto in recent meetings against L.A.

The Leafs have outscored the Kings 15-6 over their last four games against one another, with the Leafs winning three of those meetings; Nylander has seven points in those four games.

Moreover, Nylander has a point in seven straight games against L.A. and has recorded at least one point in nine of the last 10 meetings between these clubs. I expect those trends to continue.

Maple Leafs vs Kings same-game parlay (SGP)

William Nylander anytime goalscorer

William Nylander 3+ shots

Auston Matthews 3+ shots

We’ll mirror our best bet and take William Nylander to score an anytime goal. He’s got four goals in his last two games and has tickled twine four times over his last four contests against L.A.

Next, we’ll stick with Nylander and grab him to record 3+ shots on goal. The Swedish winger has 235 shots on the season, good for ninth in the NHL. He’s hit this total in seven of his last eight games and in eight straight meetings against the Kings.

We'll move to his star teammate and grab Auston Matthews to register 3+ shots as well.  He’s averaging a team-high 3.98 shots per game and has cashed in on this prop in five of his last six contests.
