My analysis
The Dallas Stars have dominated the Chicago Blackhawks over the past couple of seasons, winning seven of the past nine meetings. Not only are they winning, but they're coasting to victories with six of those seven wins coming by at least a two-goal margin.

This trend is unsurprising, given Dallas is the superior team in every facet of the game. Let’s start with the blue line, spearheaded by one of the best defensive pairings in the league in Miro Heiskanen and Thomas Harley.

The Stars rank in the Top 5 in goals allowed per game, shots on goal allowed per game, and penalty kill percentage. Those numbers are also aided by the play of goaltender Jake Oettinger, who is slated to guard the cage on Sunday.

He's 16-9-1 through 26 starts this season with a .908 SV% and 2.44 GAA. This success is likely to continue against Chicago, a team Oettinger is 7-1 against over the past eight meetings with a .922 SV%.

Oettinger also benefits from ample scoring support, as Dallas ranks 13th in goals scored per game and fourth in xGF/60. The Stars not only outrank the Hawks in both categories but also lead in xGA/60 and expected goal differential per 60 minutes.

Stars vs Blackhawks same-game parlay (SGP)

Stars -1.5

Roope Hintz anytime goalscorer

Jason Robertson 1+ assist

Roope Hintz leads the team in goals and co-leads in power-play goals.

Chicago is one of the worst defensive teams in the league, ranking 22nd in xGA/60 and 25th in goals allowed per game.

If we are backing Hintz to score, then there is a high probability of Jason Robertson recording an assist. Not only do they skate together on both the first line and first power play unit, but Robertson has also assisted on four of Hintz’s past five goals.
