If 3 and 7 are key, what is 5?

At first read, you almost had me persuaded, Nice write-up. But I handicapped this from a different perspective and my numbers are just too close to find an advantage. If anything, I think this is a high scoring affair, but to pick a side?...good luck.

A bettor's memory is only as good as the last game. 2. No team is as bad or as good as you think they are. Good luck.

Had a college team ever won by more than 8 in overtime? Is it possible?
in College Football
It's definitely possible and it happened. I had the improbable winner.
Seemed like a hundred years ago.
ASU-7' vs somebody. ASU scores in ot. Up 7 Somebody has first and goal at the 1. Somebody fumbled, ASU ran it back 99 yards. ASU won by 13. |

"nevada 0-5 all time @ hawaii in october or later. all 5 games lost ats as well, upset last two times as favorites."
--------------------------------------------------- Did these upsets happen when the temperature was above or below 65? And was the visiting coach wearing a hawaiian shirt and flip-flops?

Someone who "really" knows how to handicap is not going to share what he has learned on a public forum. It has simply taken too many years and involved far too much effort to simply give away the "Keys To The Kingdom". There may be a few who know precisely what I'm talking about. Those who don't will be scratching their heads for a long, long time. Yeah, it's puzzling. Yeah, it's a riddle and yeah, it can be solved. Good luck.

you kids are getting a twist in your knickers over a high profile contest that will probably be decided in the final thirty seconds of the game. i can just hear the sportsbooks laughing and saying, "Here kids...analyze this!"

What you're looking for is cunning and illusionary It's a blend of mathematics, psychology, habit and self-induced delusion. It has much to do with awareness. Once you clear your mind of all the distraction, you'll say, "It was as plain as a clear blue sky. It was right in front of me and I couldn't see it. Now, it all makes perfect sense. I feel so foolish."

MINE IS THE BEST =
Many years ago, in cfb I had Arizona State -12'. In OT, ASU scored and was up 7. The other team had first and goal at the one. On the next play, they fumbled. ASU returned the fumble 99 yards and I covered by the hook.

Handicapping is like finding a needle in a haystack.
Difficult, yes? I'm sure you'd agree. Except there's one major problem that adds to the degree of difficulty. There are about a hundred haystacks. So now, you have to find the right haystack, then find the needle. So, your question should be.... "How do I know what to look for?" Answer: You don't and chances are you never will. You may think you do (along with hoards of others, but you truly do not have a clue.) I'll let you in on a little secret: I know what to look for. Sounds boastful, right? But it's true. Why? Because I'm probably the oldest person on this board and I have an uncanny knack at being able to identify the factors used in sportsbetting algorithms. I am not a mathematician, but I am very good at algebra and multi-factor type mathematical equations. Now - Just because I know what to look for DOES NOT MEAN I know how to translate or convert the relevant information into determining the probable side. That's what I'm working on now and it takes a lot of time. It's tedious and requires all kinds of things that not many others would bother with. But I'm relentless. I do not handicap all sports. Football is a challenge, but I prefer cbb. There are far more opportunities. So my advice to you would be to follow someone at least fifty years of age who has been handicapping AT LEAST twenty-five years. It takes that long to have a clue. Others may take offense at that statement, but the person you're looking for is someone who can hit three consecutive three team parlays and every ats outcome is greater than ten points. Good luck to you.

My 2nd question - What does a key number signify? Why is it "Key?"
A "key" to what?
