According to Brock Purdy himself, the 49ers are not even totally sold on him:

Not sure how this story has slipped thru the cracks. Could set up an interesting off season in SF. Personally, I like Purdy. |

Has there ever been a more insufferably annoying head coach than the Eagles guy ?
in NFL Betting I’m an Eagles fan. I really, really, really disliked him at first, for probably 3/4 of his entire first season. I thought he was a total douche lol. But watching entire press conferences like I do I realized he knows exactly what he is doing and he has definitely grown on me since. Now I love that he’s the coach. He always has this team ready. And man despite how good the roster Howie put together for this season is, I really thought this team was a year away from having a home playoff game, never mind being the #1 seed in the NFC for the tournament. He deserves a ton of credit.

Are you going thru a divorce or something? This is getting silly lol. What is with this need for attention? Seriously consider taking a break from Covers for a few days or a week and clear your mind dude. It’s awesome you are profitable and keep that up, but the drama is getting tiresome. |

For the Raiders it makes sense to me. After a year of bad press, the Raiders want to make a better impression in Las Vegas. This is a big deal. According to overthecap, Carr’s cap number is only $19m this year, the last season of his current deal. Whatever he signs going into 2023, his salary will certainly at least double. The team is counting on it not taking long for Carr and Adams to regain their chemistry with each other. And it will be interesting to see what McDaniels comes up with for this offense. Finally I just want to add that Adams is really good lol. He’s getting a little older but he still has a 2-3 real good years left and he doesn’t count on speed. Yes it is a monster contract (about 5 years, $140m), but in reality it’s really likely a 2-3 year deal. The real terms still haven’t been leaked and typically the longer that takes, the worse the terms tend to be in comparison to the initial reported value. Also, when is the last time the Raiders have had a true superstar wideout…. It’s been a long time. And don’t even say Randy Moss either because he was trash in Oakland and gave up very quickly back in 2005 or whenever that was. How people forgive him for that I will never know but that’s another story lol. The Adams compensation was very high, but having a chance for a Super Bowl alone makes it worth it. Super Bowls are worth a lot. I look forward to watching the AFC WEST unfold in the upcoming season. Should be super exciting . The AFC WEST has to be the best division in football. As of now I personally think Denver finishes 4th, but the Russell Wilson trade is intriguing. |

I know I’m late to the party but Zeke isn’t going anywhere. Thanks to the rolling guarantees in his contract, his salary (something like $17-18m), is already guaranteed for the 2022 season. They are stuck with him. This is likely part of the reason they are moving in from Amari too. Giving a running back that kind of money these days is insane and the Cowboys have to pay the figurative price for their foolish spending on Zeke. RBs are a dime a dozen and have been for the last 10-12 years already. If you look at the list of recent Super Bowl winners nobody has the highest paid running back. It’s just an egregious waste of cap dollars. The only guy I can think of from the last while whose team won is Marshawn Lynch. He was well paid but only had about 60% of the salary that Adrian Peterson had. The game had moved to passing more and more each year since then too. Paying RBs huge money is silly. Anyways after this upcoming season is over, the Cowboys can cut Elliott much more easily. No more rolling guaranteed salaries, and the dead money on the cap from his signing bonus will be less too. |

@Wildwomenrock I know you are a Packers fan. You are proving my point. Just wait til Jordan Love is out there hahaha. You will be missing Rodgers real quick. You also didn’t say anything about what I said as far as blaming the front office for the lack of talent for more SBs. They haven’t done a good job. Your hatred of Rodgers blinds this fact. You again brought up the rest of the division and somehow this ties into being Rodgers fault? I strongly disagree. That’s the front office not being good enough. I assume I don’t have to tell you how the politics of how your team works but because their is no owner, there is not accountability in the right places, and if there is it takes a lot longer than it should to make changes. Give these people a shorter leash and I guarantee you many of these issues about being complacent as the best team in the NFC North will evaporate because they will have to perform and you will end up with a better roster overall. I fail to see how you blame the quarterback. Like I said enjoy his play while it lasts. Then again you guys got 1st round pick Jordan Love waiting in the wings! I wonder who chose to draft him. Hmm….. I don’t think it was Aaron Rodgers.

GB fans have no idea how good they’ve had it since literally the mid NINETIES lol. Rodgers is selfish. So what? He has problems with relationships. So what? He is a douche. Who cares? What does any of that matter to you as fan lmao? He is still one of the best QBs ever in the history of the game and still plays at a very high level. You could easily argue he is underpaid compared to the market. If anything you should be annoyed at the front office for not getting the rest of the roster where it needs to be despite that.
