Hello all.   Back for another try.   After a sizzling initial season in 2008, horrible performance last year.    For those who follow, we shut it down in week 10 it was doing so poorly.   So, I am going to give it a shot this year, at least for 3 - 4 weeks and see how it pans out.   Right now I have input from 10 cappers.   Line range on the selections is in the parens and number of cappers on the each side is reflected in the second numbers.   Here is where we are:

Wanted to chime in on your heisman picks.  If Gerhart and Keenum dont get invited to the party, in my opinion you can simply flush whatever and whomever is selected down the toilet.    Both of these guys are so far ahead of Ingram and McCoy respectively it is not even funny.   And if you are truly talking about the best player, it has to be Keenum.   Without him Houston is 3 - 10 instead of 10-3.   You can't say that about any of the other candidates.    I know the Heisman is a bullshit award that means nothing, but at some point you have to start inviting guys that aren't on top 5 rated teams.    Simply unfair.

Robb, not sure where you are getting your data from but Toledo has not scored 30 since Oct. 3 against Ball St.   Statistically, Toledo has done very well but it does not seem to translate to points on the scoreboard, at least not lately.    If Opelt plays and he is healthy, they have a shot at this cover.   But rest assured the Chips will be going after that shoulder hard - one hit and he could be done (Sam Bradford vs UT ring a bell?).    I personally like the CM team total - Toledo defense is porous (107th) and LeFevour having two weeks to prepare should mean big numbers.   Lets see if Toledo can keep up.   Either way BOL...

Houston has not crushed anyone all season.   Yes, they have had some great wins, but their defense is extremely young and a bunch of starters from early in the season are out.   Last week they let Southern Miss come from 14 points down with two minutes left at home!!   Granted Houston has one of, if not the, best players in the country in Keenum.    If you want a "lock", play the over.  This game will come down to the last possession, mark my words....
