"No one can deny that Trump ramped up and deployed mob violence" Sure they can. They didn't go there because he asked them to. They went there because they believed their voice / votes were not fairly heard. |

Nevermind, it was just another stunt... The McDonalds appearance was staged. Store closed, 'customers' in the drive thru did rehearsals |

Of course the "only opinions that matter in an open discussion forum" aren't just for the people who make the rules.Nor are the opinions that matter just for anybody who has posted in the thread, who thinks they get to decide what somebody else should reply too. |

@StumpTownStu I made a response to mugg's comment about facts and liberals in this thread.I didn't quote you,I didn't mention you,it had nothing to do with you.I know what this thread was about,I was just responding to what mugg posted. You didn't need to post to tell me what the thread was about, but you felt the need to respond,so I responded back.My post wasn't made to be combative,it was just made to tell you I wasn't posting my 1st response to you or what the thread was originally about. It was a reply to mugg's statement,so what you think or thought about my post was irrelevant to me. |

With both Philly's most used receivers being out for today's game,I don't know who else they go to but running Barkley.I could see Barkley piling up some carries,I mean its gotta be either Barkley or Hurts running the ball, right?I can't see Philly being overly aggressive in their passing game unless they fall behind big early. I'm hoping Philly gets a little lead early and just tries to control the ball by running in the 1st half.A couple drives in the 3rd with his usual amount of carries. And then they keep the lead going into the 4th where Barkley could get a couple extra carries more than usual with Philly just trying to kill some clock by running the ball or them just running the ball to run some clock and then punt to flip field position. Earlier today it was at -105,unfortunately I didn't think about the "you snooze you lose" phrase till I now seen it at -120.But I think it still has a good chance at hitting without a terrible price on it yet,I could only imagine the price is gonna get worse as the day gets going. |

Breaking: Despite widespread support for clemency based on serious doubts about the integrity of Marcellus Williams’ conviction and death sentence, Missouri Governor Mike Parson has denied clemency to Mr. Williams, who is scheduled to be executed today at 6 p.m. CT. The victim’s family has made clear they oppose Mr. Williams’ execution, and the St. Louis County Prosecutor moved to vacate his conviction. That motion was denied after the discovery that the trial prosecutor had contaminated potentially exculpatory DNA evidence. The Prosecuting Attorney also confessed constitutional error based on racially biased jury selection; appeals relating to this issue remain pending in state and federal court. Mr. Williams’ case has drawn concern across the political and faith spectrum. More than one million concerned citizens petitioned Governor Parson to commute Mr. Williams’ death sentence, as did a group of 69 Missouri faith leaders from the Muslim, Christian, and Jewish communities. Below is a statement from Tricia Rojo Bushnell, an attorney for Marcellus Williams “Missouri is poised to execute an innocent man, an outcome that calls into question the legitimacy of the entire criminal justice system. Given everything we know about Marcellus Williams’ case—including the new revelations that the trial prosecutor removed at least one Black juror because of his race, and opposition to this execution from the victim’s family and the sitting Prosecuting Attorney, the courts must step in to prevent this irreparable injustice.” Tricia Rojo Bushnell, attorney for Marcellus Williams September 23, 2024 < |
