@PeterSteele Worst bad beat of my betting career! It took me months to get over that! I watched that replay on NFL network the other day. Michaels and Collinsworth repeatedly said they couldn’t believe Carroll made that play call. F THAT GAME!!!!! SMFH |

@vanzack Great write up man, you give a lot of beneficial information, for me at least. I have to agree with you on KC, they got the experience, coach, and qb which more times than not prevail in the playoffs. Throw in a bit of revenge factor and you got yourself pretty solid reasons for a KC win and cover. The second the Rams line came out at 3.5- I said Rams LINE DICTATES THE GAME. Man, that's an enticing line for a 9ers bettor, right? Not only did Vegas give ya 3 points after you've beat them 6 times in a row, they gave ya the hook as well AND you'll have more fans than the Rams at SOFI!!!! Cannot disagree with the points you made, very solid, especially about McVey self destructing in big games. BUT, Rams turn now. Donald, Floyd, Miller on the D line is where they're gonna win. Stafford, Kupp, ODB, Higbee, Akers will be too much. Jimmy G will get his interception or 2 because of the high pressure he will experience all game. I'm not getting into the conspiracy chit, but you really gotta think about the NFL and what Kronke did bringing that team to LA??? Just some food for thought and my take on the game. GL to you rest of the way and I enjoy reading your stuff!!!!!!!!!!! |

Afternoon Gents, Looking at this game and dissecting every angle that I can think of points to a pretty evenly matched game albeit a 2.5 point spread... Offensive and Defensive lines, coaches, qbs, and last but not least the point spread are the 4 things I look at usually to determine my picks. Offensive and Defensive lines are pretty damn evenly matched, slight edge to TB because of the fact that Whitworth is out, but the Rams D line might make up for that as far as both are compared as a whole. Coaching is damn near equal with slight edge to McVey IMO, Arenas gets more love because he has the GOAT on his team (rightly so). Qbs- no discussion there. So, that being broken down it seems that TB would be favored by what we would call the league minimum of a 3 point spread at home in a playoff game, right? So why 2.5 point spread? Why not 3? The best qb to ever play the game, in a playoff spot, revenge game, at home not getting favored by less than a fg???? Sorry Vegas, I'm not biting. If you don't think for a second there's such thing as "bait lines" then stop gambling right now. Vegas is begging for you to take TB-period end of story. That being said, the Rams front four can and will get to Brady, just like the Saints did and F with his head all game. In 20 plus years of gambling I have made some of the best money on 2.5 point spreads taking the dog. GL to everyone. Not claiming locks or any other BS like that. I gave you my breakdown, If I lose, I lose, onto the next game. Just giving some readers food for thought and the success I've experienced on so called "bait lines" especially in a scenario like this game here where the GOAT is not even favored by a FG at home..... |

I watched every second of the Yankees game yesterday and noticed a few things. I bet $540 to win $200 on Garrit Cole pitching and failed to handicap the rest of the game (total rookie mistake from a veteran bettor) and Yankees batting lineup woes. That Yankees lineup is probably most overrated lineup in baseball for various reasons other than their team BA. Very little plate discipline, Poor BA with RISP.... I can go on and on but yesterday solidified just how bad they really are. Am I pissed? Absofukinglutely, at myself for laying that kind of juice. BUT point of this message is to learn from my mistakes and be productive today. Spencer Turnbull is a stud at a 3.12 era and this Tigers squad has turned it around last ten plus games. After watching the grit and determination from Tigers, they definitely want this series with the Yankees way more, plain to see as day along with the turnaround of the Tigers batting lineup.I do not know much about D Garcia pitching for the Yankees but after seeing Detroit grind it out with Cole, I’ll take my chances with Tigers vs Garcia. A whole lot of value in plus money today. Take the Tigers and if ya wanna get greedy take alternate RL run line at -1.5 Tigers. GOOD LUCK! |

@begginerboy Sorry about your misfortune with life at the moment, that sucks bad man my condolences. As far as the SB, Chiefs are a better team all around. TB will not have an answer for Mahomes, Kelce, Hill. KC defense steps up in big games. KC rolls and begins their dynasty! |

@Ih8coldweather Rams Defense will keep them in it. Question is the status of Goff, Kupp, and most importantly Donald. Cold weather in GB is a big deterent as well for them. Vintage Rodgers is playing as good or better than any other qb remaining. The line seems right, tough call. I'd tease GB if it were me. I really like that Buffalo squad BUT, holy chit, this Ravens squad is peaking at the right time and they look like the Defense we have seen the past 10 years. Defense wins championships and Lamar and this D will take care of them this weekend. I simply cannot go against KC at home no matter how many points the Browns get. Andy Reid has an impeccable record on a bye week and they're going to be locked and loaded with a week off to prepare. Reid, Mahomes, and the boys roll. Coin toss on that TB/NO game. Very hard to beat a team three times in a year. I can make a case for both sides here. Hard pass. Good luck with all your plays!!!!! |

Every scenario I come up with gets me to at least 28 for KC. Basically one touchdown per quarter to over simplify a somewhat lofty goal, or so simple, that people will be kicking themselves after the game saying why didn't I just take KC over!! I know this will start out slow, until each team's OC's start to see weakness and attack them. BTW, I'm on SF to win. If you are the 49ers to win, don't you think they need to control the ball and clock? Why would they want to get in a scoring affair with Mahomes and the Chiefs? Another point is the best Defense can always shut down the best offense. The total is so high, yet the public can't get enough "over". Now, Vegas as we know doesn't give out free money, and they just fuk with us and leave us to are own doubts and insecurities about a bet we think can't miss. I'm very confident in this bet..........now......provide me the doubt and insecurities to change my mind if you care too. My bet is 6500 to win 5000. Thanks for your help or ridicule...that's the chances you take in covers when you post..... If you are the 49ers to win, don't you think they need to control the ball and clock? Why would they want to get in a scoring affair with Mahomes and the Chiefs? Another point is the best Defense can always shut down the best offense. It has been proven multiple times in the past. Good luck with your bet!!!!

Let's break this down into categories to decipher outcome:
COACHING: Andy Reid is one of my all time favorites, can come up with plenty of schemes on offense to frazzle opposing coaches and knows how to win, during the regular season. KC has definitely stepped it up, on D especially, during the second half of the season which cannot go without recongnition. Vrabel, WOW is all I can say. Being a pupil of Belicheck and winning those rings definitely has shown his abilities to win. Throw away any stat from regular season because this team is in skull phuk mode on both sides of the ball. In this particualr game, not talking career here, I give the advantage to Vrabel because of the journey they've had to get to Divisional Finals. Reid has to prove me wrong and win "The Big Game" for credit here. WR'S: Hill, Watkins, and Kelce definitely are better on paper, no doubt. Brown, Sharpe, and Davis are no punks though. Edge goes to the veterans. Brown has been shut completely down because of Gilmore and Peters. I think Brown goes off this game one because he is due and KC does not have corners that compare to the two mentioned previously. Brady and Jackson had ZERO success passing the ball. Although Mahomes may be more talented than both of those dudes, I think Vrabel has something in store to disrupt that lethal passing attack. RB's: Don't need to go into detail about this: KING HENRY vs Damien Williams, ummmmm onto the next category (no disrespect Williams, he's been playing his arse off). Once again, I believe Vrabel and Company stop him in his tracks. DEFENSE: They win championships. KC has improved, as they seem to do every year, in the second half, and there's no denying that. Tennessee, where did you guys come from???? Stopped Brady and the MVP in the league making both look like some rooks. That's been one of the most impressive things with Titans is stopping both those squads. Why would they stop there? They're not!!!! PREDICTION: The Chiefs will not stop Henry and I believe Tannehill will throw the ball more than he has the past two games with developing the PA pass. I say the receiving core for Titans goes off as well. Vrabel comes up with a defensive scheme to confuse Reid and Mahomes and Reid fails to win another "Big Game".... Good Luck to all!!!!!
