Well explained above, to get a perfect hedge to collect the same amount regardless you want to bed the amount of money on the other side of the last game to collect what the parlay collects if u hit the last leg of the parlay.. Ideally the last leg is a short favorite so u don't need to place much on the dog to hedge .. If last leg is a dog you need to place a substantial amount usually on the favorite to hedge so you might not end up with much profits .. Example I had 10$ today on Detroit Chicago Houston Denver all ate lines in a parlay into last leg Tampa money line to win 290.. I could have 155 on Oakland -120 so in total I have Outland 165 and I am guaranteed to collect 290 meaning a profit of 290-10-155 = 125 ... Personally chose not to hedge as I think if you want to hedge I should have had the 4 leg multi and collected the 135 from 10 had I only parlayed the 4 spreads.. Hope that helps

Chicago -3.5 1 unit Denver -3.5 2 units Detroit -4 1 unit 4/4 morning but 5 units on spreads, definitely my best day yet, had a parlay action on them also but not posted wont count to record Quarter backs - mixed morning down 0.2 units Luck Rogers Flack SCAM newton Bit disappointed burning money on two out of form QBs, 4 QB plays pending to end out a good Sunday thus far.. Hope everyone is enjoying a good day pounding th books

You are ridiculous looking for trends on a sample size of 4 games if any of you knew something about statistics you should know you need a much bigger sample size than 4!! And the majority of 'trends' people post are based on 'after the event ' ... Try identifying one of these trends early and following it and having a solid record.. Noone posts about a trend that is 4-0 ATS and goes 10-0 ..people find trends that by chance have a great record and then think it will continue.. Do u think the Giants care that they played the cowgirls last week and now it means they 'can't' win by 4+ this week .. If Pitt cover this week it won't be because of that

Bottom line: probably not the best game on the card to wager on with all the Hurricane Sandy intangibles. Well put.. While u could make an intangibles case to wager on either of these teams , I don't think anyone can realistically judge who the situation will impact more until o see who turns up once e games has kicked off, probably a good game to sit and enjoy without having your cash on the line.. Anyway if people wager BOL

Good read , probably siding with you on Dallas if they can cut the turnovers out they will be in this with a good chance to win outright .. Agree that tenn are garbage and took the bears counting on a better offensive performance and the usual solid defense .. BOL this weekend

On the opposite side this week on most plays but BOL at least one of us will win ...
The Denver line does seem easy but I guess sometimes you have to go with the team playing hot with a great QB in fine form leading them against a team struggling to get their offense moving the ball , but hey this is the NFL , anything can happen right !
