My NFL picks have identified a very hittable +700 same-game parlay for Chiefs vs. Raiders this Sunday.
A Brock Bowers prop leads the way with my SGP picks for October 27, and I'll share why below.
Chiefs vs Raiders SGP for Week 8
- Brock Bowers Over 58.5 receiving yards
- Kareem Hunt Over 66.5 rushing yards
- Under 41.5
Caesars is offering almost the exact same SGP at +625 with a line on Kareem Hunt that's just one yard better, so BetRivers is the clear choice here.
I would have to favor the Kansas City Chiefs if making full-game Chiefs vs. Raiders predictions due to the horrid quarterback play the Las Vegas Raiders have offered, but rookie tight end Brock Bowers has been able to overcome it. Bowers has cleared 58.5 receiving yards in three straight games while averaging better than 68 yards per game thus far.
Though the Chiefs' defense has been solid overall this season, its major weakness is the tight end position. This unit is dead-last in the NFL at 83.5 yards allowed per game to tight ends, so expect Bowers to get plenty of looks from either Gardner Minshew or Desmond Ridder.
Kansas City has not shied away from giving Kareem Hunt the rock, calling his number a combined 49 times over the last two weeks. He's cleared his rushing prop in three straight appearances for the Chiefs, and even though this market is on the rise, the Over is still hittable.
The Raiders are a respectable 11th in net yards allowed per pass, thanks in part to the fearsome pass rush led by Maxx Crosby. But Las Vegas struggles to contain the run, ranking seventh-worst at 4.8 yards allowed per carry.
Andy Reid is no fool, and with Isiah Pacheco's return looming, K.C. can afford to work Hunt hard.
The Week 8 betting trends suggest the Under is in store, as the Chiefs have gone below the total in four straight games. The Raiders are 2-2 to the Under with an average combined score of 42 in the same span.
The Under is 2-1 in the last three head-to-head meetings, including Las Vegas' 20-14 upset win on Christmas Day of last season.
I think Kansas City controls the game even as the road team and bleeds the clock, leading to a low-scoring tilt.
