The Miami Dolphins have turned things around over the past two months to give themselves a chance to make the playoffs. They’ve gone 6-2 after a 2-6 start to get back up to .500. They have to take care of business against the Jets at MetLife Stadium on Sunday while relying on Kansas City’s backups to beat the Broncos in Denver.
The Jets haven’t quite lived up to expectations this season with just a 4-12 record but the oddsmakers still have this as a coinflip game on Sunday afternoon.

The Jets don’t have anything to play for besides maybe pride for Aaron Rodgers in potentially his last game with the team (or in the league). Still, you have to think the Dolphins keep things rolling here to take care of their side of things for the playoffs. Take them +1 here on the road.

Likewise, I’d back the Dolphins on the moneyline here as well.

The total is set at a low 39 between these two teams. I’d be looking to the Over 39 here given Miami’s potent offense and the fact that the first meeting last month had 58 combined points in a Dolphins overtime win.
My best bet
Garrett Wilson Over 4.5 receptions (-135 at BetMGM)
My analysis
Garrett Wilson has been a consistent threat since being drafted by the New York Jets in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He’s gone over 1,000 yards in each season and is on the cusp of cracking the century mark for receptions with 97 through 16 games.
This line seems a bit low given the fact that Wilson averages six catches per game as well as nine targets. He had seven catches on 10 targets for 114 yards in the matchup against the Miami Dolphins last month.
Wilson has seen double-digit targets in six games this season and had a combined 15 targets in the last two contests. The Jets are feeding the ball to their wide receiver of the future (and present), and there has to be a part of Aaron Rodgers that wants his name to live on with Wilson and the Jets.
Finally, we’re getting a great number here at BetMGM. They’re offering -135 while other books are priced up at -145 and -156.
