Dude no offense but if you think SMU is a better football team than Alabama you’re just part of the whole reason we needed 12 teams. You must have forgotten how the SEC walked all over the 4 team playoff year after year w a couple exceptions. There are 8 or 9 teams in the SEC better than SMU. Maybe more? What’s the spread on SMU vs Florida or Oklahoma or fucking Vanderbilt or Auburn.

is SMU favored on any of those teams fields? They all came in 10th or worse in the SEC. SMU plays an SEC schedule and what’s their record? They are just gonna run through it right?!

the ACC sucks it’s a shame them and the big12 are considered to be major conferences because they aren’t and there are 12 teams across the big ten and SEC that would smoke them all.

 I think it is pretty fair to point out to the rest of the forum that buying a point and a half is a highly volatile strategy that is widely recognized as a losing play.  you can buy a half point to get to or through a key number but anything past that is suicide long term.

Dallas is not beating Boston 4 times.  Dont be foolish.  Lay it with the Celts this one is way easier than a lot of you are making it.  The Mavs don't match up, their two best players are guards who dont play defense and Boston will have mismatches all over the floor and shoot wide open three pointers. The way the NBA works it is time for Boston to win, they have paid their dues, Tatum has arrived.  Once he gets this ring and is clearly the most impactful player in the series you can all shut up about Luka being better than him too. Doncic can't play Defense. Will get exposed.

Thinking the Mavs will win this series requires an immense misunderstanding of the game of basketball.

Kyrie is a generational talent. He switches speeds better than anyone ever has. Luka is great on offense but a huge liability on defense. Boston will win this series in 5 or 6 games. Those two can average 60 combined and still lose this series. The match up issues exist for Dallas and not Boston. Boston can switch everything on D and get severe mismatches on O by hunting weak defenders w high screens. All Boston has to worry about Dallas doing is putting horford on an Island and blitzing>rotating those situations. The Celtics are going to be shooting wide open three pointers all series because the mavs don’t have the man power in any way shape or form to compete with them. The only team that can beat the Celtics is the Celtics, and the Mavs will melt and fall apart by halftime of game 3. The more I think about it, it’s just Celts in 5. This is an easy one.
