Musk readying himself to replace Johnson for Speaker of the House..... LMAO. |

Guess he settled on him being a cynical ahole like Nixon huh..... |

@Midnight1 Yes. My views are in the minority but I am fine being behind anything that will blow up / disrupt status quo of what we all know as traditional politics and government bureaucracy. The DNC has been far superior in locking down their party members for years. You rarely see dissent from the regime message with individuals. Guys like NYC Adams and Fetterman are outliers who have only recently began to speak on based matters that fall outside the realm of the DNC messaging / programming. The Dems have run circles around the Reps in this regard. For at least the past decade plus Soros was / is behind the curtain pulling the same strings as Musk is now doing. They literally stole the playbook from Soros and what we are beginning to see is the start down the same path. My popcorn is ready

@wallstreetcappers So you are admitting you were wrong to say I insult Mid ?? Come on, just this one time.... it is OK to admit one's mistakes. We all make them..... |

@wallstreetcappers I really do think you have reading comprehension issues. I clearly outlined the subjective nature of my comment and my definition of the use of the term. "Fupah won't answer you" LMAO really ?? Never realized that after the past four years. I know that, I don't ask to converse with him, I don't pose any question to him. Again, if someone makes a completely asinine comment I can call it out as I see fit, while following the rules & guidelines of this site. I "replied" to him because I am highlighting his comment. You know, the really intelligent analogy that uses the death of 6mm Jewish individuals to compare the potential prosecution of some scum bag politicians. Ya know, that one. |

Darkness and I were having a nice civil conversation just yesterday....if he lived on my side of the coast I'm sure we would be fishing buddies. Those who have insulted Mid usually get a nice piece of his mind and then move on. Sorry to burst your bubble but that is not the case here.... https://www.covers.com/forum/general-discussion-35/thoughts-that-come-to-you-103808865/9#last

What purpose is there to call me a bleeding heart mod is this something that adds value or adds to conversation? Does insulting midnight as you do add value or add to conversation, is it respectful?
I use my words carefully and calculated. When I make a mistake I have the balls to own up to it. I said "I could see how a bleeding heart mod could feel sorry for one of those individuals". I did not say you were a bleeding heart mod, I made an objective statement that IF that is the reason why you feel you must defend someone else's actions and words for them THEN I could understand it if you were a bleeding heart mod. I don't think that is an insult, "bleeding heart" just means you are very sensitive to the misfortunes of others. In this case, the low IQ posters in question. With regards to Midnight, why don't you ask him if he feels I insult him? Darkness and I converse all the time, we agree on things and we agree to disagree on other things. I respect him and if there was anyone who felt insulted and would speak up to it he would be one of the first. If I insulted him he would tell me straight up, but here you are again putting words and feelings into other peoples mouths. That is a problem. It makes you look foolish. Mid could come in right now and tell me I am wrong and that I have disrespected him and insulted him. That is not the case though so right back on you Mr. Morale Superiority. Darkness is my homie. |

@Raiders22 I didn't get it. Ignored it cause I had no clue. I'm a pretty big movie buff too and can't remember it being used in any 80s films. You can usually google a good movie quote and it comes right up. |

The headline is misleading of course because it is CNN. Read the story though and you'll find the contradiction to Wray's previous testimony. https://www.cnn.com/2024/12/12/politics/justice-inspector-general-january-6-fbi-report The FBI had 26 confidential human sources at the Capitol on January 6, including four who entered the Capitol building and 13 who entered the "restricted area" around the Capitol, according to a just released DOJ Inspector General reporter.

@Midnight1 Former FBI Director Wray is already on record of perjuring himself. He resigned one day before the J6 commissions report was released, which included information in direct contradiction to some of his previous Congressional testimony. I hope this piece of information is found to provide "value" to this forum |

Yep great analogy. The persecution of an entire ethnicity as one of the greatest atrocities of the 20th Century versus the potential prosecution of those who may or may not be guilty of crimes, perjury being the most common of the potential guilty parties. "perjury" vs. "mass genocide" Awesome analogy. We have family of Jewish descent (married into) and having been educated enough to their history and that of some of their direct relatives who went through this time period it is greatly disappointing to see that Covers allows the atrocities of WWII to be used in such a partisan and non-challant way around here. It is sickening and sad but hey that's par for the course in these parts I guess. |
