My analysis
The Atlanta Braves, who ranks in the Top 8 in ERA, have pitched well enough in this series to pull out at least a win. Those arms haven’t had the offensive support, though, as Atlanta’s bats have tallied just two runs over the first two games of this series while stranding 18 baserunners.
Some credit must go the pitching staff of the Baltimore Orioles pitching staff, which boasts the third-best ERA in baseball at 3.08. They’re also Top 5 with runners on, holding teams to a .233 average and a 1.14 WHIP. But these birds aren’t just a one-trick pony, as they also boast an offense sitting third in runs scored and first in home runs.
Baltimore sends lefty Cole Irvin to the mound, who is 6-2 on the year with a 2.87 ERA and is coming off a win in his last start. He’s been fortunate to have those bats behind him: In his six wins, the O's averaged six runs per game.
The Braves will counter with righty Reynaldo Lopez who has gone 3-2 with a 1.85 ERA. He’s surrendered two earned runs or less in his last six starts, and the Braves have gone 4-2. Even if Lopez does pitch well, I don’t know if Atlanta’s bats have enough pop to support him.
Baltimore’s ability to win in multiple ways means you don’t have to worry about going Over or Under a total. Just sit back and take the Orioles to win on the moneyline.

I'm targeting Ryan O’Hearn to go yard this afternoon. He’s hitting a crisp .353 against Lopez, and of his six hits in 17 ABs, two of them have been homers. O’Hearn has also gone deep in each of the last two series, with a dinger against both the Rays and the Blue Jays.
Irving has a very makeable 3.5 strikeout line, and he’s fanned six batters in two of his last three starts.
The Braves are in the middle of the pack in hitting against lefties, but they’ve had trouble making contact in general over the last month, sitting inside the Top 10 most K’s in the league.
Irvin has struck out all but three Atlanta players in the projected lineup in previous matchups, and has multiple strikeouts against four different players — including middle-of-the-lineup hitters Austin Riley, and Adam Duvall.
