Arizona Diamondbacks third baseman Eugenio Suarez is coming alive after a poor start to the season. He had just six home runs while batting .196 in 80 games through the end of June, but has 11 home runs with a .317 average (39 for 123) since July 1.
He's currently riding a six-game hitting streak and has gone Over 1.5 hits + runs + RBI in five of those contests, including a 2-for-4 night on Saturday. Since July 1, Suarez has gone Over 1.5 hits + runs + RBI mark in 21 of 34 games (61.76%).
Philadelphia Phillies starter Cristopher Sanchez has been up and down as of late. He allowed one run on five hits last time out after giving up six runs on eight hits in his previous start. The young southpaw has struggled on the road, going 2-4 with a 4.78 ERA and 1.65 WHIP as opposed to 6-3 with a 2.32 ERA and 1.02 WHIP at home.
