While the White Sox may appear to be an easy matchup for Kyle Harrison, he hasn't made a habit of pitching deep into games and we don't expect that to change tonight.

MLB props for August 19

Today’s best MLB props

Prop bet #1: Carson Fulmer Under 15.5 outs

-165 at DraftKings

It’s been an unsuccessful move to the starting rotation for Los Angeles Angels righty Carson Fulmer. He’s only topped 80 pitches once and his 4.82 ERA and 4.77 xFIP are nothing to write home about across the six-start stretch.

Additionally, he’s surrendered an unsustainably low .210 batting average and .227 BABIP as a starter considering he’s also allowed opposing hitters to tee off with a 46.3 hard-hit percentage.

The Kansas City Royals have been solid against righties with an 11th-ranked .319 wOBA and second-lowest strikeout rate (18.5%), too. KC has been mashing since the All-Star break with a fifth-ranked .346 wOBA in addition to the Royals being far more dangerous in the metric at home (.333) than on the highway (.299) all season.

Prop bet #2: Kyle Harrison Under 16.5 Outs

-105 at DraftKings

The weather forecast calls for the wind to be blowing out at Oracle Park, and San Francisco Giants lefty Kyle Harrison has only recorded 17+ outs in one of his past seven starts. He’s also already up to a career-high 111 innings and has seen his fastball velocity and pitch value decline considerably across his past three outings, per FanGraphs.

This matchup is soft on the surface, with the Chicago White Sox entering last in baseball and ranking last with a .274 wOBA against lefties. Still, the Pale Hose project to have a righty-heavy lineup against Harrison on Monday and he’s allowed a healthy .331 wOBA to righties compared to a .310 mark against left-handed hitters.

Prop bet #3: Gavin Stone Under 16.5 outs

-110 at DraftKings

Los Angeles Dodgers starter Gavin Stone has recorded 16 or fewer outs in six of his past seven starts and the Under has cashed on his outs total six times since throwing a complete game against the White Sox on June 26. His 6.12 ERA and 4.47 xFIP are poor numbers during the run and he's quickly creeping up on last year’s career-high 131 2/3 innings across the minors and majors.

Hitting away from T-Mobile Park also helps the Seattle Mariners, with their 29th-ranked .286 home wOBA way behind their .305 mark on the highway, and Dodger Stadium is a plus for homers. Stone has allowed a 20% home run-to-fly ball ratio and 39.3 hard-hit rate during the highlighted seven-start stretch, too.
