My analysis
Juan Soto has been quiet... too quiet.
He has just one hit this series and some less-than-spectacular plate appearances, but at this price, I had little choice but to back him to break out of this mini funk.
My projections made this play +100, and that was an edge I couldn't pass up. Part of that is what we've seen historically from Soto in this matchup, which is a .333 average over 30 PAs with three homers and six RBI. Not too shabby. Soto's success makes sense once you look at the metrics behind this matchup.
Pablo Lopez will take the mound tonight, and he's been a bit unlucky. An expected ERA much lower than his actual ERA tells that story, but what hasn't been unfair to him is a barrel rate that sits in the Bottom 42% of the league.
It's below average and part of why he's experienced some unluckiness. That's a problem against Soto, especially when he's simply due to barrel up some balls based on the historical precedent he's set for himself.
Soto will enter this game ranking second or first in all of baseball in barrel rate, depending on which site you use, but the last two games have seen him not hit too many balls hard. You can take that one or two ways.
He was due for regression, or he's due for a game where he puts his power on display again. That's the side I come in on and why I'm big on this prop tonight.
Also, in Soto's favor is the pitching arsenal he's likely to face. Soto misses many opportunities to get hits because of his patience at the plate, and often, he's able to draw walks. The good thing for our bet tonight is that Lopez, even in high-leverage situations, rarely walks anyone, as his walk rate is one of the lowest in the games.
In addition, it's never bad to bet on Soto hitting the fastball, and he should see a fair bit of that tonight.

Despite pitching issues in this matchup, the Minnesota Twins can keep this close. As I said, Lopez is due for some serious positive regression, and outside of Aaron Judge and Juan Soto, there are some favorable matchups for him to work through this lineup.
The Twins will also benefit from facing a breaking ball pitcher in Marcus Stroman as their numbers go up significantly against such opponents.
