Who will win Avalanche vs Stars Game 4?
It was just one game, but the Colorado Avalanche's offense finally found its groove.
Colorado peppered Jake Oettinger in Game 4, sending him to the showers early after scoring three goals on 34 shots through two periods. Overall, the Avs outshot the Dallas Stars 48-23.
Their formula comes down to the number four. As in, Colorado is 5-0-0 in its last five games against the Stars when it scores four goals.
Despite the hostile environment, I like Colorado’s offense to travel and be successful.

My Avalanche vs Stars pick: Over 5.5 (-135 at BET99)
We always knew Nathan MacKinnon would show up — he scored his fourth goal of the series in Game 4 — but we’re finally starting to see others contribute in this series.
None might be more inspirational than Gabriel Landeskog, who hadn’t played since the 2022 Stanley Cup Final. In just his second game back, he recorded a multi-point game.
For the Stars, bouncing back shouldn’t be a problem. They were only shut out just once in the regular season, losing 4-0 to the Winnipeg Jets earlier this month.
But it’s getting close to crunch time, and without Jason Robertson, they need some of their other scoring options to come through.
That includes Wyatt Johnston, who’s yet to find twine in this series despite tallying 33 in the regular season. Then there's Roope Hintz, who has just one goal after notching 28 in the regular season.
Anything more than zero will help Oettinger, who has allowed at least three goals in three of the four games and has been chased out of the net twice.
And even though Mackenzie Blackwood picked up the shutout and sports a 1.60 goals-against average in the playoffs, he was lit up for four goals in last Monday's OT loss in Dallas.
We’ve had almost everything in this series so far. With so much on the line tonight, I think these elite offenses let it all hang out in the quest to win the all-important Game 5.

We'll take him to get a point to be safe, but an anytime goal leg would juice up the odds a bit more.
MacKinnon has been easily the most prolific shot-taker in this series, firing 24 shots over the first four games.
He topped his 4.5 line total twice in his series, including in Game 1, when he had two goals and an assist in the 5-1 win.
MacKinnon has had at least four shots on goal in every game this series, and he should be prominent in this biggie.
