The Jets came back down to earth a bit in December after an incredible start, but they've really picked up their play over their past eight games. Winnipeg went 5-2-1 in that span, and its offense seems to be clicking.
Over their past eight games, the Jets are scoring 3.50 goals per game and their power play has been converting at a 33.3% rate. Kyle Connor, Mark Scheifele, and Gabriel Vilardi have been leading the way for Winnipeg.
Connor Hellebuyck is 5-0-1 in his last six starts, continuing to make a case for himself for another Vezina Trophy. In these last six outings, Hellebucyk is boasting a .922 SV% with a 2.12 GAA.
Winnipeg has also been one of the best teams on home ice this season, sporting a record of 11-3-1. All signs point to the Jets soaring tonight.
