The NHL's Western Conference Finals shift to Edmonton where the Oilers and Dallas Stars are all square at one game a piece.
In tonight's pivotal Game 3, my NHL picks are looking to a pair of Oilers to generate some offense, while a breakout star (pun intended) continues to come up big for his team.

Today’s Stars vs Oilers prop picks and best bets
Prop bet #1: Wyatt delivers
Wyatt Johnston has been perhaps the Dallas Stars' best player through the first two and a bit rounds of this year's NHL playoffs.
He's logging tons of ice and playing in almost every situation possible, most of the time against the opposition's top guys.
He played a critical role in Game 2, setting up two goals including the empty netter to seal the win and even the series.
Johnston is a player I've been keeping one eye on since last year, and he's come into his own as a legitimate second-line center.
With the series shifting to Edmonton, I expect this game to be played at a higher tempo and with more scoring than the two games we saw in Dallas.
If the Stars are going to win this game, Johnston will be the driving force and he'll find a way to contribute.
This is a great price for a single point, and I'm all over it.
Wyatt Johnston Prop: Over 0.5 points (-125 at BET99)
Prop bet #2: An apple a day
If there is one constant for the Edmonton Oilers this postseason it's Evan Bouchard and his ability to leave his mark on games.
Bouchard has 21 points through 14 games so far and is getting plenty of ice time, including PP1 time.
He's registered five assists over his last four games and with the Oilers getting the last change tonight on home ice, you can be sure he'll have plenty of offensive zone starts.
Given the way the Stars are pressing the Oilers forwards, it'll be the defensemen that may be the difference maker tonight with a big goal or timely assist.
Given Bouchard's knack for padding the "A" category, we'll take what's been working.
Evan Bouchard Prop: Over 0.5 assists (-145 at BET99)
Prop bet #3: McShots
Speaking of leaving his mark on games, Connor McDavid is simply due for a legacy type of game.
We've not seen the best of McDavid through the first two games, and even in Game 7 against the Canucks.
In those three games, he's managed just six shots on net, but I'm expecting a bump here on home ice.
Similar to Bouchard, the last change will help elevate some matchup pressure on McDavid's line, and knowing a loss would put them behind the eight ball, I'm expecting 97 to come out firing from all angles.
At plus money to boot, sign me up.
Connor McDavid Prop: Over 3.5 shots (+125 at BET99)
