WHY DOES NOBODY MENTION THAT 10-PT HAVE ONE SPECIAL SUCKER ATTRIBUTE????????!!!!!!!!!!!!! TIES LOSE!!!!!!! You post all these lines and add 10 points to them, of course they look good. If one of the 3 games in your teaser ties, you lose. SPORTSBOOKS LOVE IT WHEN YOU BET 10-pt TEASERS.

Jets will go all out vs Ravens. Both Sanchez and Clemens will play very well.
Take Jets +3 Sunday.

Underdogs have a solid 90-67 overall mark (57%) in week one
( per two minute warning )
Updating to include LY's results ( though spreads may differ )
Underdogs have a solid 101-69-2 ( 59.4 % ) overall mark in week one

Plus , let's assume Systat 's #'s to be correct from his own post >>>
13 win teams are 3-12 ATS in last 15 as preseason favs
And I did check that the >>>
Underdog is 14-0 ATS in Bufalo's last 14 preseason games !
( Look at covers scoreboard to see that the underdog in Bill's games have swept three years in a row ..ATS .)
Also from Systat >>>
7 wins teams are:
14-2-1 ATS last 17 as preseason dogs
4-16-1 ATS last 21 as preseason favs
Note :
Underdogs have had their way on week 1 of preseason going
11-2-2 ATS LY
( per covers scoreboard final lines and scores ) ,
though the HOF game is conidered separately as these same teams will be playing in week 1 of preseason .
HOF games have recently gone to the favored team with the exception of the Oakland-Philadelphia game in 2006 where the Raiders beat the Eagles as 2.5 point dogs 16-10

Roberto Fiory, you are true loser. You have nothing better to do with your time. You search all these stats, then instead of betting them, you share them in this forum. I feel sad for you, no friends, no life. Do the accolades you recieve here make you feel good? If you had any brains or any friends you would bet your own stuff and not share it with the world. You are the definition of the word LOSER.

I've emailed Bet Jamaica 3 times this week, and received no response each time. What gives?
I am looking for a new sportsbook for football season, so in each email I asked them:
"Do you accept credit cards?"
"Do you charge withdrawal fees?"
All three emails the past 7 days have been ignored!

I have a huge 2-team parlay. Just need Dodgers/Brewers Over 9 runs. IT WILL GO OVER! I love this bet. Dodgers offense is best in NL. Braden Looper has given up most HRs of any pitcher, Brewers due for some big hits, etc.
Lockoftheday.com gave their MLB Lock Of The Month for free today on their website: Braves -130 over Padres.
It already won, thats the other half of my parlay.
Lets go Dodgers/Brewers!

If in a 4 team division, all four teams are equal, the true math odds would be 4-1 for each of the four teams to win the division, right?
How bad are the odds at WSEX?! The last place team, Tampa Bay, is 4-1 odds to win their division. What a fricken rip off!!
Stay away from World Sports Exchange.

How the scam works: When players sign up with BetUS through the Sportsbettingchamp.com website, BetUS identifies that player as a “Chase system” referral. When that player wants to make a play released by the tout, BetUS deals a unique, higher-priced line on that game for that specific player. It is similar to a grocery store changing price tags after they find out what you were sent to purchase.
For example, on March 23, 2009, the “Chase system” told the players to bet on the Los Angeles Clippers. BetUS and most books were offering a spread of +15 for this game. Most BetUS players, including those referred to BetUS through other professional handicapper websites received the fair line of +15. Players who were referred to BetUS from the Sportsbettingchamp's website were offered a line of +13.5. Other recent examples of dealing inflated lines only to the tout’s subscribers include: March 7, 2009: Golden State Warriors +6 (vs +8) March 3, 2009: Toronto Raptors +6.5 (vs +8) March 1, 2009: Toronto Raptors +4.5 (vs +6) February 24, 2009: Charlotte Hornets +5.5 (vs +7) In every case, the alternate line is only on games released by the tout, and always hurts the player following paying for the pick. The BetUs customer essentially pays much more than he or she realizes. BetUS’s tactic of moving the line against these players means that instead of charging the normal -110 for these wagers, BetUS is effectively charging these players -140 – FOUR TIMES the usual bookmaker commission. Info from SBR BETUS.COM ALSO CHARGES $40 FEE FOR EVERY SINGLE WITHDRAWAL. The highest of any sportsbook. (Most sportsbooks have free withdrawals)

I attended this event last year. I was in Vegas at the time and as I have admitted on many occasions here, I am far from God's gift to handicapping. I thought this seminar may be interesting and I might learn a lot from it. However, I came away disappointed. I thought the stuff with Ken White was excellent. He gives you a look inside the lines and how him and his staff make a line. I thought that was really interesting, especially for someone like me who knows more about defending the option and dissecting the run n shoot than I do why a line is adjusted three points. But after that, it kind of dragged on and was boring in my opinion. It was really nothing more than this message board stuffed into two days. Just a panel of handicappers telling me who they thought was going to win the SEC and giving me their "sleepers." I'm sorry but I feel that guys like us here at Covers know that stuff just as well as them. I was hoping to hear more gambling stuff. No offense but I will put my general CFB knowledge up against most of these touts. What I came there for was to learn more of the handicapping side of things and I didn't feel like I got that. I really don't care who they think is going to win the SEC and they do that for every major conference. Very long and drawn out. If you look around the room, everyone seems bored by the third conference. So the stuff from Ken White was very good but overall I thought it kind of dragged on. It was one of those things I found myself wishing were over long before it was actually over. But hey, if it's free, go and judge for yourself. What do you have to lose?
I was thinking of going this year. Triple Option, what would have made the conference better for you? What were you expecting that they didn't have? The way you write about it, sounds pretty interesting....

How about the New York Jets?
Two years in a row with no help from the draft (Gholston is a complete bust. Sanchez wont help this yr) Rookie coach, rookie QB, they were not that good last year, probably worse this year, with a very tough schedule. Calvin Pace suspended to start the year. LOSSES: Patriots twice, at Colts, Titans, at Texans, Carolina, at Saints, Falcons = 8 losses very likely PROBABLE LOSSES: At Buffalo, At Miami, cross-country At Raiders (lost to Raiders last yr too) POSSIBLE WINS or LOSSES: at home against Buffalo & Miami, Jaguars, road game vs Tampa WINS: at home vs Bengals SUMMARY: If you are not imporving in the NFL, the rest of the league will pass you by. The Jets were mediocre last year, and worse this year. Under 7 wins on this team is a solid bet. Jets are in trouble. Jets will finish somewhere around 5-11. |
