replied to oregon -7 now in College Football Do you guys forget how the USC defense got worked over by HAW, VIRG & WASH? I mean VIRG gave this D everything it could handle for 4 quarters! If you think they had fundamental tackling problems against STAN & WASH, ORG will make this defense look downright stupid from the first possession. The ducks defense could give up their highest score of the year and this game won't be within 14 points. I'm not sure about my numbers exactly but they were something like 2 for 11 on 3rd down in that game. If UAB had a kicker instead of a headcase, they would've won the game in regulation by 9. As a buckeye fan, I can only be thankful that our 'star' RB recruit Jamaal Berry (miami, fl) got arrested for pot before tressel put him on the roster. Florida will bring it on defense, that is the only given All things considered LSU should not have scored a TD vs georgia. The under has the best potential here. Haven't seen anything posted yet on the O/U, but LSU will score in the neighborhood of +/- 2 TD's if jefferson has zero turnovers. created a topic CAL VS ORG in College Football Cal seems to have a massive advantage on defense vs the ducks offense. Cal's D line should be able to handle the O line for Org all day long. Masoli is proving his worth as a passer to anybody who's paying attention. With the ducks #116 (!!!) in passing that really seems to simplify the gameplan for tedford's crew. Keep in mind that masoli wasn't able to pad his passing stats at all (163 yds) vs a PURD team that's #94 in pass D. And ORG nearly lost that game straight up at home. To me this line's got 6 pts baked into it for the 'Autzen' factor. This year that's just not enough to get the ducks the cover. Riley was the only ? I had for CAL on Off this year. The guy has stepped up and delivered 3 straight covers. Best is clearly the premier back in the country right now and seems to only be getting better with each game. Chip Kelly is fortunate to be 2-1 at this point. He sure as hell hasn't outcoached anybody yet. Don't expect that to change with this game. Masoli has lost 2300 yds of production out of his backfield since they beat OKST in the bowl. Kelly knows that masoli can NOT handle that kind of a dropoff (by throwing) but what other options does this offense give him?
