Pistons vs Warriors Prediction, Picks & Odds for Tonight’s NBA Game

The Golden State Warriors are on a roll and with a motivated Detroit Pistons team in town to try and bounce back from a loss against the Clippers, it's fair to say that the total will be the main attraction to bet on in this matchup. Gear up for a high-scoring affair with two teams with a lot of offense to put on a show.

Back from an uber successful road trip, the Golden State Warriors return home to take on another team that is just as hot as they are, when the Detroit Pistons come to town.

Both teams enter Saturday’s showdown with 10 wins in the last 12, each moving them into the top six of their conference standings. The Warriors are tabbed as 6.5-point home favorites in the NBA odds.

Our Pistons vs. Warriors prediction thinks defense will take a back seat in a matchup of two of the league’s surging squads. Let's get into the NBA picks for Saturday, March 8.

Pistons vs Warriors prediction

My best bet
Over 232.5 points (-110 at bet365)

My analysis
The Dubs return home winners of three straight, and just a single loss during their 5-game trip. The Golden State Warriors wrapped up the swing with a 121-119 comeback win over the Brooklyn Nets, in a game they found themselves trailing 27-5 out of the gate.

Both teams are inside the Top 6 in scoring defense as well, but we’re talking about high-octane offenses going head-to-head, so it wouldn’t be surprising that that goes out the window.

I think Golden State with Butler finds a way to win, but that line is just thin enough that it’s risky to take them to cover. The Warriors have seen the Over cash in four of their last six, while the Pistons have gone over the total in three of their last four.

Let’s bank on a high-scoring, highly entertaining contest from Chase Center.

Pistons vs Warriors same-game parlay

Over 232.5 points

Steph Curry Over 4.5 made threes

Cade Cunningham Over 24.5 points

Steph Curry has been hitting the 3-ball at an alarming rate, and it’s just so fun betting on him to splash triples. That 4.5 make line does seem high, until you’ve seen Curry has topped that total in four of his last five.
