The NFL season continues at pace, and we’re learning more and more about each team every week.

With that knowledge, and depth charts becoming riddled with injuries, there are NFL picks opportunities to win some bets that oddsmakers may be mispricing, including Week 7 touchdown props. I’ll go ahead and select my three most likely first touchdown scorers for Sunday’s slate.

Best Week 7 first TD picks

First TD prop bet #1: Terry McLaurin

Best odds: +700 at FanDuel

The Washington Commanders welcome the Carolina Panthers to Landover, MD and will be aiming to increase their lead at the top of the NFC East. They have a great chance against the 1-5 Panthers, and we might see Jayden Daniels airing it out as he continues to show why he’s the frontrunner in the NFL Rookie of the Year odds

The Panthers have allowed the second-most touchdowns to wide receivers this season with nine and face Terry McLaurin, who has gone nuclear over the past month. He’s scored four touchdowns in the past four games and punished the Ravens with two scores last week.

He’s Daniels’ best pass catcher, is second in red zone targets behind Zach Ertz, and leads in red zone catches.

First TD prop bet #2: George Kittle

Best odds: +1,000 at FanDuel

We have a Super Bowl 58 replay and I'm backing George Kittle to have a bigger Sunday than he did back in February.

No team in the NFL has surrendered more yardage to tight ends than the Kansas City Chiefs this season, giving up an astounding 81.8 yards.

Kittle comes into this in red-hot form, with five touchdowns in five games, just two fewer than he managed in the whole of last season. He’s scored in each of his last four games and managed to haul in two touchdowns last week against the Seahawks.

Kittle is cooking right now and facing a defense with a major weak spot, so the San Francisco 49ers TE is a great bet to open the scoring.

First TD prop bet #3: Tyler Goodson

Best odds: +1,000 at bet365

The Indianapolis Colts host the Miami Dolphins this Sunday in an intriguing matchup.

Despite a 3-3 record and a number of disappointing performances, we’ve seen the Colts open the scoring in five of their six games so far. They also face a Dolphins’ defense that has been humbled by running backs and given up nine touchdowns to the position in just five games.

It looks unlikely that Jonathan Taylor plays given that he hasn’t practiced yet this week. That would leave Trey Sermon as the next man up, but he’s been limited all week. Not only that, but he’s been awful when called upon, averaging just 2.5 yards per carry on 37 rushes.

Tyler Goodson, meanwhile, turned 12 touches into 65 yards last week and is far more explosive. He’s the player to wager on against a poor Dolphins’ running defense.
