Passing yards are weighed heavily so I need a QB with the best chance to pass for 300. Thoughts? |

Simple Fantasy Football Draft Question (to take a 2nd tier QB early or not)
in Fantasy Sports Long story short, Im in a keeper league and my keepers are Adrian Peterson and Reggie Wayne. We do a snake draft so Im pondering my first 2 picks. Being the few top QBs are unavailable (kept), my dilema is should I grab a 2nd tier QB and then a decent WR/RB in the first two rounds, or should I grab a stud WR and a stud TE and gamble on a later round Kolb, Flacco-type for my quarterback for the season. Keep in mind, this is an 8 team keeper league, so every team is stacked. I will have a choice of: Tony Romo, Philip Rivers or Matt Schuab OR Brandon Marshall and then the #1 Top Tight End (Dallas Clark, Davis, Gates, whoever I want) This league is obviously a point per recption league AND we get bonus points for 10 receptions and 100-yard games from receivers/tight ends.
Thanks in advance for the help gentelmen |

BUY.COM Keep and eye and check in once a day with them and you will find crazy deals that only last a few days. I bought 2 TVs from there last year. Got a LG 32 inch1080i for $550 last year and a 37inch 1080p for $600. The LG is the best picture I have ever seen and was the cheapest flatscreen I own. |

Good topic. First play that comes to mind is Derek Jeter's backhand flip to get Giambi out at the plate. Time management and football strategy is one of the most fasciniating things to watch and Bill Belichick is a treat to witness: Monday Night Football 2003 Broncos beating Patriots 24-23 with 2 minutes and change to go and the Pats backed up on their own 1 yard line facing a punting situation. Bill takes an intentional safety making the score 26-23 and the Pats kicked off, got the ball back and Brady threw a TD, 30-26. One of the best MNF finishes Ive ever seen.

Walton? LOL, I would think maybe a guy named Bill Russell- the guy with more rings than fingers- might crack that all time Celts lineup over Mr. Walton, haha. I think ESPN did a thing on this today. |

Not sure how obscure, depends on the circles you run I guess, but The Juliana Theory might be the best composed "rock" music Ive ever heard.

$3000 is a fair price as long as there is $2000 in cash in the glove compartment that comes with it. In all seriousness, I'm sure you took care of it as evidenced by your receipts and stuff. That being said, it is what it is, a 12 year old compact car with about 150K miles. So you're looking at about $1000 or best offer in a best case scenario. If it were a Civic or a Corolla, then your $3000 price would be more like the number, because Japanese engines bring more money. Don't pay attention to the "bluebooks" or any of that shit, and WendysRox, you should know that. First, bluebooks (like NADA, Kelly, etc) are just guides more or less for insurance companies, and so that dealerships don't make a five thousand dollar mistake when appraising a trade in that they aren't familiar with. You, on the other hand, have a run-of-the-mill, 12 year old clunker (with all do respect). Its not a hard appraisal. Ask $1500 and see what you get. If no bites, then lower it by $100 every few weeks it doesn't sell. Good luck |

I have 2 Blackberries, the Curve and the Storm. Obviously the Storm is comparable to the IPhone, being the touchscreen. I love the Storm, had it almost 2 years and never really had an issue. I have unlimited minutes, text/data and internet so it gets used alot. Im sure the iPhone is just as good if not better, but I'm not into paying crazy money for a phone. They both retail for like 400+. When both the Storm and iPhone came out, I called Verizon, told the guy I was going to buy an iPhone unless he could give me a deal on the Storm. It took 2-3 days and some talking to a manager, but I got it for 150 and a plan. |

The answer to all 3 is yes. But you're forgeting the "paper trail" there is with "paper checks." Yes, someone could certainly use your bank account info to pay their bills over the phone or online, but I have it on good authority they would be caught in a short amount of time. |

If it takes you 3 months to save up $1000, what made you gamble three months of income away in a week? Do they teach simple math in your high school? Kid, you need to pay this guy and get another hobby. You can't pick teams and you can't manage your money. This is not for you. |

I just cant give up all $1,000 i have worked hundreds of hours for, just becuase of one bad week and irresponsible week of betting. Please help! You mean take responsibility for your actions? Would you have expected to get paid if you won $1000? Of course you would. Pay your debts and stop acting like a helpless girl. |

Yeah Van, I was going to say Papa Johns is probably not the pizza place you want. The local greasy "house of pizza" would be the better option. |

You're right, starting the all star game at 8 different positions would be quite the record, however, Rose only strated at 5 different positions. 1B, 2B, 3B, LF, RF. A feat that is still amazing. |

Generally, teasers are indeed a waste of money, yes. Hence the word, "teaser." I say teasers are for lazy cappers, as you'll commonly find that one of the teams/plays didn't need the extra points. Multiple teamers are ridiculously ignorant, but there are some rare occasions where a two team teaser can prove beneficial if you can cover a key number like 7 or 10. However, played with any regularity, teasers are a silly novelty with odds overwhelmingly in favor of the book. The bottomline is you need too many things to happen to see any sort of return. Keep your plays simple and your units consistent. |

I think there's a hole in your theory. I've dated women 5-10 years above my age, and I wouldn't think twice to beat the bag out of you. |
