A winner-take-all Game 7 in the Stanley Cup Final seemed like an impossibility just a week ago, but now the Edmonton Oilers are a home win away in Game 6 against the Florida Panthers from making it a reality.

Prop bet #1: McDavid works his magic
Connor McDavid is on a whole other level right now. He was a wrecking ball in the Edmonton Oilers' 5-3 win in Game 5, scoring two goals and adding two assists — becoming the first player in NHL history with back-to-back four-point games in the Stanley Cup Final.
We know he has at least one game left in these playoffs, and he’s five points away from tying Wayne Gretzky’s otherworldly 47-point total in the 1985 postseason.
McDavid has plus odds on picking up a pair of assists in Game 6 — something he’s achieved in three straight games in this series since tallying just a single point in Games 1 and 2. He’s had six multi-assist games in these playoffs, and four other 2+ assist games against the Florida Panthers in his regular-season career.
McDavid’s been by far the most dominant player on the ice the last two games, and I don’t think anything slows him down on this current tear.

Prop bet #2: Evan sends it in
While McDavid was busy setting the Panthers on fire, Evan Bouchard had his best game of the Stanley Cup Final, picking up three assists in the win.
He’s moved to second in playoff scoring, sandwiched between McDavid and Leon Draisaitl, who’s gone mostly radio silent in this final series.
After tallying just a single assist in the first three games of this series, Bouchard now has points in back-to-back games. The one thing he doesn’t have yet is a goal against the Panthers.
He’s scored a goal in five straight playoff series, last failing to light the lamp against the Colorado Avalanche in the 2021-22 Conference Finals. With his play on an offensive upswing, it’s the right time to take a flier on him to bury one.
Evan Bouchard prop: Anytime goal (+350 at BET99)
Prop bet #3: Dollars from Evan
Evan Rodrigues has been one of the best players in the Stanley Cup Final for the Florida Panthers. He picked up a goal and an assist in the Game 5 loss, the fourth time in five games he has hit the scoresheet in this series.
His four goals against Edmonton are one less than Matthew Tkachuk, Carter Verhaeghe, Aleksander Barkov, Sam Reinhart, and Sam Bennett combined. If Florida’s going to wrap this series up at Rogers Place Friday night, it’s likely some combination of those players will have to produce at a better clip than they’ve shown so far.
Right now, Rodrigues and his series-leading six points is the best bet of the bunch. It’s definitely worth jumping on his plus odds to play a part in the scoring picture.
