Eskimos 24, Roughriders 19: Mike Reilly threw for 260 yards and ran for a touchdown as visiting Edmonton rode a 20-point second half to victory.
Reilly completed 20-of-30 passes with one interception for the Eskimos (11-5), who moved four points ahead of the Roughriders for second place in the East Division with two games remaining. John White gained 91 yards on 16 carries while Adarius Bowman made six catches for 111 yards.
Kerry Joseph was 17-of-36 for 213 yards with two touchdowns and a pair of interceptions for the Roughriders (9-7), who have lost four in a row and five of six. Brett Swain and Korey Williams each caught a TD pass as Saskatchewan gained only 54 yards on the ground.
Saskatchewan entered the second quarter with a lead thanks to Chris Milo's 43-yard field goal but fell behind 4-3 before Joseph connected with Swain for a 17-yard touchdown with 58 seconds remaining. After the ensuing kickoff, Tyron Brackenridge intercepted Reilly on Edmonton's first play, setting up a 17-yard kick by Milo for a 13-4 halftime advantage.
The Eskimos dominated the second half, scoring 10 points in each quarter to seize control. Kendial Lawrence returned the opening kickoff of the third 75 yards for a TD and Reilly rushed for a 5-yard touchdown midway through the fourth following a pair of field goals by Hugh O'Neill.
GAME NOTEBOOK: The Roughriders closed the gap on Joseph's 28-yard TD pass to Williams in the final minute, but the quarterback's pass to SB Weston Dressler on the two-point conversion attempt was incomplete. ... Saskatchewan RB Anthony Allen, who entered Week 17 as the league's leading rusher, was a late scratch for undisclosed reasons. ... Edmonton improved to 2-0 against the Roughriders this season, with the division rivals meeting again in Saskatchewan on Nov. 8 in the season finale for both clubs.
