Tiger-Cats 28, Roughriders 3: Zach Collaros threw for 287 yards and two touchdowns and the Hamilton defence hounded Tino Sunseri to end visiting Saskatchewan's seven-game winning streak.

Luke Tasker hauled in both Collaros scoring strikes and Terrell Sinkfield added a 57-yard punt return TD for the Tiger-Cats (3-7), who moved into a first-place tie with the Toronto Argonauts and Montreal Alouettes atop the East Division. Hamilton has a game in hand on both teams.

Sunseri was limited to 9-of-21 for 88 yards and an interception and was sacked five times in place of the injured Darian Durant, who will miss the remainder of the season with an elbow injury. The loss kept the Roughriders (8-3) in a second-place tie with Edmonton in the West, four points back of the league-leading Calgary Stampeders.

After a pair of long Justin Medlock field goals staked Hamilton to a 6-0 lead, the hosts padded the advantage on Collaros' 14-yard TD pass to Tasker. Chris Milo's 10-yard field goal provided the only scoring for Saskatchewan with 2:59 remaining in the opening half after Sunseri missed Weston Dressler in the end zone on second-and-goal.

Sinkfield put the game away in his first contest as a Tiger-Cat, gathering a low Milo punt near the midway point of the third quarter and evading more than a half-dozen tackles en route to the end zone. Collaros and Tasker connected for another 14-yard touchdown with 3:47 left.
